Chandler Gabrio, former member of the OVC 18′s (2010) team signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Northwest Christian University. Gabrio played her freshman year at Western Oregon University, a D2 program, and will transfer to NCU this fall. The 6’2″ middle blocker will join an impressive list of incoming players for the 2012 season.

Emilee Chapman moves onto College of Idaho
Congratulations to OVC 18′s Nike team member Emilee Chapman who will continue her volleyball career at the collegiate level next season at the College of Idaho. The Marist High School volleyball standout will be attending CI this fall as a member of their women’s volleyball team. The NAIA volleyball powerhouse finished the 2011 season ranked 12 in the Nation, and is consistently one of the top volleyball programs in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. We wish Emilee the very best!

Private Lessons
OVC will now offer private and semi private lessons to any student athlete looking to improve a specific skill, develop in their position, sport specific conditioning, or intensive training focusing on greater development. These sessions are an outstanding opportunity for players who are looking to better their performance through position or skill specific training.
Outstanding Practice Facilities at Willamalane Sports Center
OVC is very fortunate to have the best practice and training facilities in the Northwest. The Willamalane Sports Center in Springfield is a state of the art sports facility that includes 12 volleyball courts (6 sport courts and 6 hardwood). It is the one of the largest facilities of its kind and has fully automated score boards positioned above each court with spacious spectator areas. The well designed volleyball courts provide ample room on both side lines and expanded areas for jump servers. The WC also provides a large lounge area with big screen TV.
