MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Storm'n West Volleyball Club is to assist the student athlete in her development as a player and an individual through teaching volleyball skills, increase volleyball knowledge, and promote positive characteristics that extend beyond the game of volleyball and into everyday life. The importance of learning sportsmanship, leadership, building self esteem, self-discipline and personal integrity will be fostered in a constructive environment under the direction of quality coaching.

CLUB ORGANIZATION & STRUCTURE

Storm'n West Volleyball Club is a youth sports organization that is managed by a Club Director / Co-Directors and run by an elected Board of Directors. Positions on the board are a one year minimum up to a three year maximum. The organization is structured as follows:

Club Director / Co-Director

This person(s) have primary authority and responsibilities for the overall club organization and conduct the day-to-day operations. The Director provides leadership to all coaches, staff, board members, players, parents and club associates. The Director is responsible for the general overall success of the club organization through providing formal recommendations / suggestions to the Board of Directors for their review and decision / vote. The Director is the point person(s) for the club organization and will be responsible for recruiting of coaches, administrative staff, board members and facilities. The Director will assists in creating and establishing a clear club mission and goals.
